Enter into Prefs and press Сonnection in the upper right corner. In the field Name: indicate the connection name (i.e., UMC NET GPRS), and in the field Connect to: PC and in the field Via: enter the type of connection you apply. Then press Details… and indicate Speed – 57,600 bps and Flow ctl  – Automatic.

Press OK and go to Network. Create new record and name it, for instance UMC NET GPRS. Then state any Name and Password (i.e. internet and umc) and in the field Connection select UMC NET GPRS.
