New special UMC company offer – updated "USSD-service"
 
USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Services Data) is a data exchange technology that provides for information interchange between subscribers and a special mobile operator service in the on-line mode.

Advantages:

With this service, subscribers obtain the opportunity of quick access financial information on the personal account or the contract. You also receive the opportunity to find out the status of services accessible in your tariff package and to manage them (activate / deactivate).
USSD service does not require additional ordering or activation, it is provided for UMC subscribers on a permanent basis, free-of-charge. You may take advantage of this service with any mobile phone model that operates in GSM standard.
 
The main advantages of using the service:
    • information is provided in the on-line mode (speed),
    • easy access to information (convenience).
To send a query, you need to dial the set order of symbols, namely *query code# and press the "call" button.

Changing language:

You may receive information in:
    • Ukrainian,
    • Russian,
    • English.
The Ukrainian language is set as the default.
For changing the language into Russian, you need to dial *02 after the query number before the # symbol, into English – *03.
Language changes only for the current query.
 
Example for USSD query *110*10#:
*110*10*01# – Ukrainian,
*110*10*02# – Russian,
*110*10*03# – English,

Financial information

Opportunities:
UMC contract subscribers will receive the following opportunities:
    • quick review of the current information on the personal account (account status, recent bills and payments, bonuses left);            
    • checking the contract status (information on the current tariff model, validity of the additional agreement, package minutes/money left).

It is necessaty to use Password at the end of each request for activation/deactivation of services.
The password provides confidentiality of services management.
 
If you are a physical entity, you may order a password by calling to number 111, the Clients Call Center. A unique generated password will be sent to you in an SMS message within 2 days.
 
A legal entity may order a password by sending a fax to number (044) 240 240 0, or (050) 462 24 00. You will be informed of the password generation by an SMS sent to you or from the contact person of your organization within 2 days.
