Ìîbile Internet, settings of Dial-Up connection for Windows CE
- Enter the section Modem and select Start -> Settings -> Connections -> Modem.
In the Modem section set new Dial-Up connection and press New Connection, under a relevant name (i.e.: UMC Mobile Internet).
In the section Select a modem: state the connection type you use (via cable, infrared port or Bluetooth), in the section Baud Rate: the speed of data transfer is 9600.
In the section Advanced… no new changes are needed. Parameters are set automatically – for TCP/IP: Use server-assigned IP address, Use software compression and Use IP header compression; for Name Servers: Use server-assigned addresses.
Then press Next and enter a short phone number for access in a new window– 955. If you plan use the service in the roaming, enter the phone number to access the service when in roaming – + 38 050 314 44 55. The parameters Country code: and Area code shall not be changed.
Press Next and Finish to record parameters of new Dial-Up connection.
New Dial-Up connection UMC Mobile Internet has been set. Then enter the section Start -> Programs -> Connections and press UMC Mobile Internet. In the window Connect To press Dialing Options -> Dialing Patterns... and change the text in the field For local calls, dial: to G.
