Ìîbile Internet, Settings of Dial-Up Connection for Windows 9x
To create a new Dial-up connection select My Computer -> Dial-up networking -> Make new connection. In the window Make New Connection enter the name of new connection (i.e., UMC NET GPRS) and select the modem of the mobile phone to be used for the access purposes:
To download Windows Explorer select Start -> Programs -> Windows Explorer, and enter Dial-Up Networking.
To create a new Dial-Up connection in Dial-Up Networking press Ìàêå New Connection, under a relevant name (i.e.: UMC Mobile Internet).
Enter your mobile phone details as modem parameters (Menu: Select a device) and set up the following parameters of the Dial-Up connection:
Enter shortened phone number for access (955), then press Next and Finish.
If you plan to use the service in roaming, enter phone number to access the service in roaming + 38 050 314 4455.
In Dial-Up Networking click the right mouse key at the Dial-Up connection you just entered and select Properties:
Remove a mark from Use Area Code and Dialing Properties.
Make sure that your mobile phone has been entered as a modem in Connect Using.
